With a degree in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Katie focused on the styling aspect of her education. Katie’s education, qualifications, work experience and ethics provide a solid background to be a part of the styling world. Her hands-on-experience was developed during the position she held as an Executive Assistant to Anya Sarre, Head Wardrobe Stylist of “Entertainment Tonight,” “The Insider,” and personal stylist to Hollywood celebrities; and eventually advancing to Production Assistant on both “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider.”
From creating a wardrobe book on “The Rachel Ray Show” to dressing celebrities on the red carpet, the demands and standards were set high, but Katie was always able to deliver. With Katie’s opportunity, she was privileged to help style clients for the Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmys, talk shows, film premieres, press junkets and other press-related events. Katie was accountable for managing “Lara’s Look for Less” Segment on “The Insider”, from scheduling the camera crew to styling the set; Katie experienced the production side of styling.
With her decision to move forth her career, her goal was to re-create that level of professionalism and client book here in Orange County as she worked two and a half years as a Stylist for an Orange County corporate style company. From there, Katie decided it was time to go out on her own. She started her own styling business and couldn’t be happier with her decision. Around the same time she was approached by Style Report Magazine, a digital fashion magazine, where she spent three and a half years as the Head Stylist.
In 2017, Katie withdrew her position at the magazine to pursue her own business full time. She is currently building her personal cliental and takes on freelance projects as she sees fit.
Katie is passionate and adds a fresh, energetic, and savvy outlook to styling. Her ability to create wardrobe looks for people of all walks of life and professions has been honed and perfected. She enjoys exploring all creative outlets.
