Supporting local boutiques has always been extremely important to me. Of course, I head to Target or Nordstrom when I need to but contributing to small businesses is very meaningful in my eyes. As a small business owner, I know the struggles but I also believe in doing what you love and supporting your community so that everyone can strive to be the best they can be. Heritage Mercantile Co. and Seed Peoples Market are two of my favorite local shops. First off, they are both beautifully merchandised, they smell decadent and they have an array of charming handmade pieces from local makers. These two boutiques have everything from apothecary, kitchen and culunary goods, home decor, linens, books, hand designed cards and gift wrapping to handcrafted clothing, jewelry and accessories. It’s almost guarenteed that I pop into both these gems if I need a gift for someone special or just want to add a little magical piece to my personal collection. Each and every time I walk into Heritage and Seed there is always something different and unique that catches my eye. You must check out these shops and see for yourself!
